In Woodbridge, scouting is about family fun, friends, adventure, and preparing our Scouts for their futures. From kindergarten to fifth grade, our Scouts learn to live by the core values of Scouts BSA to become respected young members of our community and, some day, model citizens. We currently have about 45 active Scouts from the greater Woodbridge area in our Pack, lead by several dedicated and trained parents/guardians.

Cub Scouts earn “Adventures” that are specific to their grade and rank, with each adventure designed to develop the aims of character, citizenship, leadership, personal safety, and personal fitness. Each den is run by a Den Leader (or leaders) who provides a more personal, close experience as each Scout earns their Adventures. In addition, our Cubmaster plans and carries out the Cub Scout Program for the Pack (all scouts), involving each scout den (scouts grouped by grade level) in group activities. Every activity, whether at a den meeting or at a pack event, is designed to be engaging, fun, and related to the core values of scouting.
We all want our children to be prepared to succeed in life. By participating in Cub Scouts, Scouts are shown to be more cheerful, helpful, kind, obedient, trustworthy, and hopeful than non-scouts. That’s because our Scouts live by the Scout Oath and obey the Scout Law – values that we instill in our Scouts from the very beginning. Our Scout Leaders are trained to help each Scout develop the core values that the Cub Scouts aims to instill in a fun, engaging and safe way.
Boys and girls as young as 5 years old (kindergarten), and as old as 12 (5th grade), are eligible to join Cub Scouts. To join, please contact us to learn more about our Pack and/or to join us at an upcoming Pack event to see if scouting is right for your child!
